Huntington Beach, CA asked in Traffic Tickets for California

Q: Will I receive a traffic ticket?

I just got my license last month and today there was a letter addressed to only my address that was a "legal advertisement" detailing some things I might have to pay "if" I get a ticket for running a red light. I've very upset but I have not received any official documents or receipts and there are two other drivers in my household. I have not run any red lights that I could've avoided (once or twice because I didn't have time to break and the cameras flashed but I couldn't have made the light without slamming on the breaks. Does this letter mean that someone in my household will receive a ticket? or is it just advertising because I'm new to driving

A: there is no way to know without viewing what you rec'd.

but if legal advertisement it is not someone coming after you.

maybe there is a Citation this company learned of and they are trying to get biz?

you should get some notice if you broke the law.
