Q: I was sold a car fake paper work by a car dealer it says it’s a 2007 but it’s a 2005

Hi basically I bought a car from a dealer and all the paper work says is a 2007 now its started acting up Then the mechanic says the vin says it’s 2007 but it’s a 2005 so I did some more digging and all the seat belt tags says 2005 and everything else with a date so I called the dealer up and he said it happens sometimes but he can give me a discount off a next car.... what can I do about that

A: Get your money back--if they won't unwind the deal call the state AG's office ---you don't want a car from someone who does it. You don't think they check VIN's? believe they do!
