Philadelphia, PA asked in Real Estate Law and Landlord - Tenant for Ohio

Q: Don't I have the legal right to know who owns the apartment complex where I live

My lease is up and I was given a 30 day notice for feeding a starving cat. I'll gladly leave but I have pictures of the conditions in my apt. I'm disabled, have lived here 7 yrs and pd my rent 15 days early. The manager is a drunk and a drug addict And her boss is no better. They have refused to tell me who owns the apts.

A: They don't have to tell you...but it is public record. You can look up the property owners down at the county office.
