my neice was touching the newborn puppies as the mother was feeding them. Through out the day my newphew, neice bothered the mother dog a lot. We told them to stop. Later that evening they decided to run up and down the stairs playing an calling my dog name as they went. Next thing you know, the mother dog came up to the steps charge an bit my neice face, twice. Then i took her to the hosptial. I informed my sister the mother of the child and she came. No charges was pressed. But!!!!! Hosptial staff ask about the dog and i was seeing them write things down as i spoke. Told me the dog had to be watch for 10 days. I told my self my dog needs to stay and feed her puppies. I work full time i wont be home. So 2 weeks went. no one showed up.Then as the next week came i was told later.someone came after i came home from work. Now im getting harrsed with letters threats with a fine and putting my dog to sleep. My sister got one yesterday. She said i aint even press charges.

A: Was the dog's shots up to date?

Did you have the vet check the dog out?

I'm hearing you got letters but didn't read each to see what it said.Ignore them and you could get a fine. Perhaps other problems.

If the kids were bothering the dog then the dog needed to have a space protected from the kids--where the kids would be protected from the dog.

Regardless of what your sister does,it was reported by medstaff and you have to read what each of the notices says.
