Q: Friend opened car door while reversing causing it to hit the car next to me
I was parked at Pizza Hut. As I was backing out, my friend (whom I thought was going with the person parked besides me) opened my front right door at the same time as I reversed back and the person next to me opened their back left door so as I reversed both doors on both cars hit it each other and caused a minor dent on the other car (this car was parked infront of Pizza Hut at the moment of the accident). Who's at fault?
A: Your friend for opening the door. You for backing up without waiting to see if others would open their door(s).
