A: It is not a crime to break in to your own habitation. Burglary, the crime of breaking into a habitation, has to have along with the breaking an entry with intent to commit theft or another felony. Since the habitation was your own dwelling, and since there was no intent to commit theft or another felony, no offense was committed. Good luck.
