A: It is 10 years, so if you get a DUI today it goes back 10 years.

When you got your DUI before it went back 7 years from the date of your past DUI.

The law is current from when you get your new DUI not when you had received your DUI in the past

I think your question is since you got your DUI in 2009 and were told it went back 7 years it should only go back 7 years. But that is the wrong way to think of it since anything in the future of those laws is not bound by future changes in the law. Notice was given when the law was enacted and it applies from that day forward regardless of past laws.

A: NOT SURE WHEN BUT IT IS CURRENTLY PRIORABLE WITHIN 10 YEARS AND THE LAW NOW IS WHAT COUNTS
