A: WC is available to employees only who are injured while working.

Your own Personal Injury Protection (PIP) will cover your related medical bills (80% reasonable and necessary). Call your insurance carrier and notify them of the crash and request your PIP.

If you don't own a vehicle or reside in a household with a vehicle, you are eligible for the PIP covering the vehicle you were in at the time of the collision.

A: You may have a case against the driver of your vehicle or the other vehicle. Consult an auto accident/personal injury attorney as soon as possible to discuss your case.

A: Contact a member of the Fla. Justistice Assn who handles comp; they give free consults. If you were at work when it happened you would be covered by comp. You may have "wraparound wage loss" in your state.
