Q: Does someone have to take the sobriety test if pulled over?

A: No, you are not required to take the FIELD Sobriety Test, but probably will have your car towed, and be taken to jail. If you refuse breath or blood tests, your license will automatically be suspended. We recommend you requested the blood test.

A: No, NO, and NOOOO!!! You absolutely don't need to take any of the standardized field sobriety tests. You also don't have to blow into a preliminary breath test machine. If a cop sticks something in your face and tells you to blow into it then you don't have to.
