Bountiful, UT asked in Criminal Law for Utah

Q: Expired License and Possession or use of drug paraphanelia

I was pulled over about a mile from my house because my license was expired as they were interoggating me asking me questions about my license and insurance etc. They found in the center console my prescription pill Adderall which was in plain site and not stored in its prescription bottle. I told the officers I did have proof of prescription at my house and informed him that my parents are in control of the doses. I CONTACTED PARENTS TO BRING PROOF AND THEY DID. BUT BEFORE THEY WERE ABLE TO GET THERE they then proceded and told me since they found the pill they can search my car. in the trunk there was packaged needles and i guess the officer found one that had a tiny bit of liquid in it and said he tested and came back as meth. gave me poss or use of drug para class B.. I DO HAVE A PAST BUT MOST HAVE BEEN EXPUNGED AND WERE OVER 5 YEARS AGO.. LAST CHARGES WERE EXPUNGED BECAUSE I COMPLETED DRUG COURT 2015 IS WHEN I ***COMPLETED DRUG COURT. CHARGES ALTHOUGH WOULD HAVE BEEN 2013.
