Q: Hi I was at the stop light and this car rear ended Come to find out guy don’t have license and insurance

I was driving a rental and from what it looks like it’s gonna be totaled and I’m still hurting what can I do to go after that guy the officer told me when she saw me at the hospital she gonna lock him up! I need to go back to the doctor

A: Several issues here. 1) you have a personal injury claim you can pursue against the other driver. For your medical bills if you have health insurance this should cover your bills until you can resolve your claim with the other driver or the insurer for the other driver. You may also have "med pay" coverage under your car insurance that would cover your medical bills until you can resolve matters with the other side.

2) The car rental company will have damages for the rental car. Hopefully you took out the coverage with the car rental company- if so then this should not be an issue. If you did not then you should be sure to turn the claim in to your insurer.
