Q: Can my doctor make me take a negative online review down?

I had a very bad, life-altering experience with my psychiatrist. I posted a negative review on google while I was still a patient and the doctor personally called me and told me she "wouldn't be completing disability paperwork for me if I didn't take it down". I did. Later I was discharged as a patient and I put the review back up now I got a cease and desist letter from her attorney saying they are going to sue me if I don't take it down. Don't I have a right to post my opinion about my own experiences? Can she win a civil suit against me for this?

I truthfully think I have a malpractice case because of her carelessness and lack of proper care. I should look into this now that she is doing this to me again.

A: You should confer with an attorney of your own to determine if the posting is defamatory.

A: Absolutely no way to say here online. You need to consult with an attorney to determine if the statements made in your post and also the letter from the Dr. reveal that the Dr. can sue you.

Good luck,
