Bloomfield, NJ asked in Traffic Tickets for New Jersey

Q: Should I fight an overnight truck parking ticket in Bloomfield,NJ.

I received a parking ticket for overnight parking in Bloomfield, NJ. (254-20B No Overnight Truck Parking $125.00) I take my work truck home every night and park it in front of my house as I do not have driveway access. I have done this for years. It is my only form of transportation. Do I have any way to fight this ticket? There is a box on the ticket that ask for vehicle type(commercial, etc...) that was not checked. Is that enough to say that the ticket was not filled out correctly and should be thrown out? What can I do to avoid getting a ticket in the future?

A: IN NJ mistake on the tickets are mostly clerical errors such as you got and would not dismiss the ticket. As for can you fight the ticket sure, but the law states no trucks overnight, its no trucks over night thus you can't park it in the town and will have to park it in a paid lot as most towns have the same ordinance.
