Q: Injured at work reported to supervisor but he did not report it to corporate and they’re denying me medical treatment

I’ve been out of work for almost a year now that this has been going on and it seems like the lawyer I have now has been want me to settle from the start with the first offer doctor I went to that I paid for out of my own pocket stated his opinion is that my injuries are work related and he thinks I am a good candidate for surgery for my back first of all was wondering if they were legally allowed to fire me for the reason they’re saying was disregarding the company policy that me and my coworker both supposedly disregarded but he was not fired and I was so my question is do I have a case for wrongful termination and they’re wanting to settle because the offers keep getting hired was wondering if I should settle the amount they’re offering is way less then the doctor estimated The cost of surgery and rehab and everything for back surgery not counting the almost a year that I’ve been out of work with no pay from work comp
