Loganville, GA asked in Car Accidents for Georgia

Q: Will a lawyer be able to help me?

I was involved in an auto accident on the 15th of Jan. The driver in front of me came to a sudden halt which caused me to brake & clip her bumper, then a moment later the guy behind me smashes into my rear. The police report states that Im at fault. I was uninsured at the time. I filled a claim against the driver that reared me & spoke with their Allstate adjuster. She asked permission to record a statement (I didnt know I shouldn't have let them record me). I explained what happened with the accident. She also asked if I was hurt, I told her not at the moment but I did go to the hospital for a check up. She called back after her investigation and said that they wont pay for the rear damage because they feel like Im at fault. Will a lawyer be able to build a case & get them to pay for it?

A: Assuming you were hurt, contact a member of the Ga. Trial Lawyers Assn--they give free consults.

You have a claim against Driver 3; your having come to a stop after hitting the car in front doesn't give them a right to smash into you.

You can't get them to pay for the front end damage.
