A: The top of this question reads "Mesquite, TX asked 6 hours ago in Family Law for Florida". Therefore I deduce that the questioner is asking about a family law question (perhaps involving child custody), is also in Florida, and only temporarily in Texas.

If so, the questioner can ask the court to transfer the case to the Florida County where she (?) lives. But if the child has been in another state for at least six months, exclusive jurisdiction would be in that state, and the Florida court should be asked to dismiss.

But, as noted, clarification is necessary.
