Q: I just open a child support case for child support. He just turn 18 still in school. I did not file sooner cause of fear
Of my life he live in Indiana. I don't have much information since I was hiding from him even after I moved from Illinois to Mannford Ok in 2011. Can something be done.
A: If you have opened a child support case in Indiana, it may be some time before they get to working on it. Oklahoma DHS Child support is understaffed, and behind working on these cases. You can speed things up by finding a lawyer in his home county in Oklahoma to assist you. Good luck, it's not too late.
