Q: At one point my license was suspended and i drove with it suspended and now i have a ticket for it
So my license was suspended. I paid the restoration fee not realizing I had to go to deptford NJ DMV to get it completely restored. Well i got pulled over on February 18th and it still wasnt fixed. And now I have court for it. Can it be dismissed?
A: I doubt your ticket is going to get dismissed as you were in fact suspended on the day in question and it was your fault. That being said if you get a good lawyer it could certainly be downgraded, but a dismissals are few and far between without a defense, which you have not shown. I suggest you get a lawyer it will be much cheaper in the long run when you save your license as you are looking at on a first offense up to a 6 month suspension of your license.
