Austin, TX asked in Family Law, Child Custody and Domestic Violence for Florida

Q: What can I do as a grandparent?

My daughter is 21 & is involved with someone who has taken complete control over her. This person has mental conditions & suicidal & claims my daughter has the mind of a 4 yr old & borderline personality disorder. I have not seen my daughter since Thanksgiving of 2017. I have received messages that are supposed to be from her but I am not absolutely sure it really is from her. I fear that my grandchildren are in danger and/or are not being taken care of properly. She is supposedly now in Idaho & I have no contact or address of where she is. I know as a grandparent I do not have much that I can legally do to get my grandchildren out of there, but is there anything at all I can do? Is there something I can do to get my daughter out of the situation as well & maybe get her some help? I am extremely worried about all 3 of them. My grandchildren are both under 4 years old. Please help!
