Q: I received fish and game violations in New Jersey no hunters orange and hunting Without License On my family’s Property
The warden told me I did not have to go to court I could just pay the tickets Online and he wrote the prices on back of ticket.Called the municipal court they told me I had to go to court. When I got up to the judge I pled guilty so I could pay the fines she said she didn’t know what to do with me because she didn’t know what to charge me because the warden was not there and she was not sure on the price to charge between 70 and $90 So she rescheduled me I had caught the flu real bad and had a family member call for me while I was on the other end of phone to reschedule my court date the girl said no problem and said call back Friday for your reschedule date When I called back for the reschedule date the judge did not approve of me having the flu so they put a warrant out for my arrest I turned Myself in immediately and paid a $500 bail should I go with a lawyer to represent me even though I pled guilty thinking that was going to allow me to pay the ticket ?
A: I always suggest a lawyer whenever you have a mandatory court appearance which unfortunately you now have.
