A: You must also show some type of harm incurred by prosecutorial delay if you are to prevail on a speedy trial issue; mere delay is not sufficient to prove a denial of constitutional rights. You should have this discussion with your attorney, but from what you describe, no misconduct has occurred. Good luck.

A: I'm not seeing a question here but, if you are just looking for research material you can start by reading Barker v. Wingo.

Also, if you are seeking information related to misconduct, you will find better search results by specifying WHOSE misconduct because there are different rules for the different roles. For example, "police misconduct" is totally different than "prosecutorial misconduct" and so on.
