Q: Does anyone know about intensive reunification programs ? Stable Paths or Transitioning Families?
I was accused of Parental alienation and the court appointed therapist told the judge that my family needed intense treatment. He recommended Stable Paths which had a location in florida and Mass. My kids went to the one outside of Boston. It was the worst experience for them and it didn't even work to get them to talk to their father. and it cost $70,000, of which the judge ordered me to pay half! I went to get something off of their website and they are gone. Phone numbers disconnected. I am trying to get any information I can on what happened to them. Has anyone had any clients that experienced this??
A:
Thank you for your question. I know how worried you must be about the court ordered reunification therapy.
I personally have no experience with either of those intensive reunification programs. I would suggest however that you contact the Attorney General in Massachusetts who might be familiar with any possible fraud claims or whether or not the business had a registered agent. You may also try the Attorney General in Florida who may also provide additional information. There are other reputable providers both in and outside of New Jersey who can also help with reunification therapy. In order to ensure the safety of your children and protect your interests, you should immediately consult with an experienced family law lawyer.
I hope this information was helpful to you.
