Q: Hi so I got a speeding ticket in Texas and I’m trying to figure out what to do next.
I trying to pay online but I don’t know how much to pay. Also I got the ticket in a town 7 hours from where I live. Do I have to drive all the way back there to go to court?
A: You can pay the citation, but that will cause a conviction to be reported on your record. A local attorney can appear in court on your behalf and see what can be done to avoid a conviction.
