A: You will need to marry him first. Once you’ve done that, you can file a visa petition. Your fiancé’s name will go on a waiting list for about two years. You will be notified when he can file the visa. It is thus vitally important to notify both USCIS and the National Visa Center of any changes in your contact information.

The process is quicker if you become a citizen.
