Q: Hello, I have had a car accident, where I have been proven not at fault by my insurance. The person that hit the side of

My car, that apparently was under the influence has an insurance that is given by government to people that have had too many accidents in the past. For that reason it’s already been two months and my insurance won’t do anything about this accident since the other persons insurance won’t cover anything, I really don’t have the money to pay to fix the dent on my leased car, for an accident that wasn’t caused by me, but by a person that shouldn’t be driving at all, because she will kill somebody in the future. I need professional help.

A: First, the other person's assigned risk does have minimal property damage. Run it through your collision, let them go after him. Contact a member of the New Jersey Justice Assn for the county where it happened. They give free consults. If you need the names of lawyers let me know. You have large medical coverage--keep getting checked out. There may be other people to sue for the drunk's getting drunk.
