A: There are many attorney's out there who will take your type of case on a contingency fee basis. Meaning they will not be paid unless you are paid. Because you are self representing, it is highly unlikely that the insurance company will settle with you for an amount that will be enough for your surgery... What are the liability limits, if you do not mind sharing?

A: The insurance company has attorneys on retainer. I understand that you don’t want to hire an attorney but I think that you should so that you can level the playing field. I don’t think the insurance company will take you serious since you are not truly equipped to take them to task at a trial.

Good luck.

A: This is not d.i.y. You need guidance, you need to get some health insurance to cover surgery, you need to contact a member of the Fla Justice Assn--they give free consults.
