Q: If I am injured within the ocean borders of another country but the vessel I was on is owned by someone in New York,
what law applies to my injury claim?
A: Need more info: were you employed on the boat and if so per contract? And if so, in what capacity, where you union etc? And does your contract have a forum selection and or arbitration clause? Or were you a passenger per cruise contract, if so what does it say?
