Belton, MO asked in Divorce and Child Custody for Missouri

Q: How much time can I ask for in my extension for responding to requests and production?

I am pro se going through a very rough divorce with a narcissist. I has hit with requests for interrogatories, statement of assets and debts, income and expense statements, request for productions and things. I was also hit at the same time for mediation. I did not even realize what the deadline was until 2 nights ago and these are apparently due tomorrow (Monday) My husband tried to contact his lawyer about extension (he feels sorry for the BS hes pulling ) but she never returned the calls. I am going to email her and take my letter to her office asking for an extension in the morning because there is a good amount of discovery to be gathered and prepared for them. I am also disabled so even daily tasks take me longer than the average. I know I will not have an issue with an extension as there is no court dates pending right now and my husband is in support of giving me some breathing room too complete these the best w

A: Extensions typically go for 30 days; if there is a lot for you to do and your disability gets in the way, ask for 60 days.
