Q: Is someone criminally liable in the state of California if they claim the title of social worker without a license

Or degree in social work?

A: I cannot say "No" definitively. But, no, I doubt it very much. It depends on the circumstances of course.

You can claim your the President of the United States and the speech is protected. But if you are believed and bail on 20k bat tab you may be liable in fraud.

i have never seen that before but it is similar to practicing medicine/law etc without a license ......i would suspect.

you may want to google this.

if you are taking money or property for it then it would be fraud.

if you are getting people to do something i suspect fraud in the inducement?
