Q: Obstructing traffic of other vehicles
I cut through a walgreens parking lot to get to royal farms across the street from that is that obstructing traffic?
A: Depends if you obstructed traffic when you cut through, but if it's the ticket you were issued then the cop gave you a break because it's a zero pt. moving violation with the lowest fine that the officer can write when he could have summoned you for using private property to avoid a traffic light which is what they usually do in such situations and that does carry points fines and mandatory court appearances in some municipalities.
H. Scott Aalsberg agrees with this answer
A: You got lucky pay the ticket because if you try to fight it they could amend the ticket to the proper ticket which was cutting through private property a violation with points.
