Silver Springs, FL asked in Real Estate Law for Florida

Q: Land home package issues with recent manufactured home purchase

We have a manufactured home land package we owned the land so we have 35% equity. We purchased a repoed unit. My issue is the dealer set up all the sub contractors and turned in estimates for the land improvements they are telling us that the we owe $2000 for 2 failed well attempts before a third will be tried. The only estimated $3050 for the well and we have nothing and are going to be out $2000. Next we were to be given a new ac unit that’s what was put on mortgage papers yet they gave us the old unit that doesn’t work. What rights do I have?

A: You likely have a cause of action for breach of contract. Consult with a real estate attorney in your area to get a thorough evaluation.
