Q: I'm currently 22 years old, and I got a level 5 DWI misdemeanor 2 years ago. How soon can I get this expunged?
I got the least amount of punishment possible. I had a level 5 dwi (No aggravators), and it was only a misdemeanor. I got pulled over for speeding, but I did not crash or injure anyone or cause any damage. I was unfortunately under 21 at the time so any alcohol in my system would get me in trouble. I only blew a .09, barely over the legal limit if I was 21 years old. I finished my 1 year driving suspension in November of 2017, and I completed a substance abuse class.
A: As of July 2015, unfortunately DWI convictions can no longer be expunged.
