Q: looking for advice on how to proceed against this suit
Looking for a consultation three weeks ago the pool cleaner came to my house unannounced and on a unscheduled day I had just had the fire alarm go off and was trying to get it to stop I opened the front door while I was waving away the smoke from the alarm the cleaner walked into the front door right at the threshold my dog began barking the pool cleaner bent down and began slap boxing my dog I was yelling at him to stop and he kept going I ran out to grab my dog and the guy started punching him repeatedly in the head the my dog bite him I grabbed him and dragged him to the house he is now suing me
A: Turn the case over to your Homeowners Ins. Co. to defend. Some policies have dog bite exclusions so discuss with this with your Home Ins Co. Good luck.
