Q: How many days will I be held in custody?

I was transferred from another county jail where I was charged with child endangerment, I had a couple court dates assigned but did not show do to transportation. I had court the very next day after being transferred. but the judge did not mention how many days I will be serving in jail.

depending on facts, but normally until case is concluded and you are sentenced ...and if jail is imposed, finish that amount of time in custody.

they will give you credit for time served prior to sentence

ask the court for a public defender and ask that question of your lawyer who has all the facts
