Q: is it possible as a buyer to get out of contract

i made offer on home and have paid earnest money now have "buyers remorse" because home does not meet needs do i have any options

A: You could negotiate a termination with the seller. But you might have to forfeit your earnest money. Or if there are contract contingencies that have not expired, those may give you an option to terminate. But it will require an attorney to review of the specific contract you signed. A: Have an attorney review the purchase agreement. It may be contingent upon financing. The language is often vague enough to allow you to cancel the contract. There may also be inspection contingencies that would allow you to cancel the contract.
