Q: Investigation to find out who called the cops

My ex thinks I called the cops on him. I didn't. From what I'm able to tell, it was for a noise complaint. There wasn't an arrest or report. The cops just showed up, did their thing, and left.

Now, I'm being told that he's filing for an investigation on the phone call. He's convinced that I did it, and is saying he wants it on record that I called the cops on him.

Since I didn't do it, I'm not worried about the findings of the investigation. I can also prove that I didn't call the cops by providing My phone records. My concern is having to go to court for this because I have better things to do. It sounds far fetched that he would successfully be able to get the courts to do the investigation on something so petty.

So, my question is will the courts even bother with this since it was just a noise complaint and nothing came from it? If the courts do find it worthy of their time, will they even tell my ex who called the cops on him?
