Q: Need advice in representing self in a domestic simple assault case. Son father.

Randy (son) came home to what looked like His dad hurting his mom. His dad has history of this and I had broken up the dad's manhandling of mom that am. We have videos of mistreatment. So he pull is dad off mom and began to take her outside. His dad grab his wrist twisting behind back to almost breaking it and so xx head-butted his dad and proceeded outside with mom and xx call police. The police arrested xx. We have pics of wrist with handprint bruise that night. No one checked his injuries. It was self defense. I'm a witness to the mistreatments and the abuse that morning. And two videos. And pics if the interior and views from doors to help give details to secene.
