Asked in Contracts and Landlord - Tenant for Indiana

Q: I agreed to mth-to-mth at $200 extra. Home is being sold to someone who wants to move in now. How much time do I have?

I have lived here for 2 years with 1 year leases. Just signed new month to month lease for $200 over current rent. A few days later, got a letter in the mail saying we have to be out by July 1. At first they were understanding that we have been unable to find suitable housing to relocate to and we have been cooperative about looking with urgency. But the letter we just got says we have to be out July 1. What if we can’t find a place to move to in that time frame? We moved in June 1, 2016 and signed another year lease June 1, 2017. The month to month lease then takes effect June 1, 2018 then correct? Or is June included in original lease? With the letter we just received, do we really have to be out by July 1, 2018 no matter what? Thanks!
