Q: Can you sue for emotional distress in louisiana?

I am a single mother. I drove a rental that i got thru lyft program. After the accident i lost my transportation and can not work because i do not have the car anymore because of the accident. I am in constant pain. I can barely hold my daughter. I have no money to support her. I am stressed i have anxiety panic attacks. I don't want to go anywhere. I can't hold my daughter long because of the back pain. I can go on more but its alot. How do i go about getting treated and compensated for these issues?
