A: Immigration is very complex and you should not write about your situation online. You need to have an in person consultation with an experienced immigration attorney right away, since you are at risk for deportation. Immigration is an extremely complex and technical area of law. This is not merely a matter of filling out forms. What you do not know can have grave consequences and even prevent you from obtaining immigration benefits. You need to retain an experienced immigration attorney for any immigration matter or you may throw away your future. Good luck.

A: While your wife can file an I-130 to sponsor you for a green card, because you entered the US illegally, you would have to return to your country to apply for a green card. Before you do so, you would have to apply for an I-601A provisional waiver because of your years of "unlawful presence" in the US. You would have to show that your wife would suffer "extreme hardship" if you were barred from reentering the US for 10 years.

Good luck!
