Q: Would it be better to get a lawyer or just pay ticket fines and the cost to reinstate my license?

A: If you have unpaid tickets, you are likely suspended for not paying the tickets. That's suspended just for not paying the tickets - not the tickets themselves. If all you do is pay the tickets off, you will likely end up getting suspended further because of the tickets you paid off and not be able to get reinstated. So if you want to avoid that and the insurance increase that comes along with just paying off your tickets - hire a traffic attorney.

A: It's hard to imagine an instance where a lawyer wouldn't help, especially if there is already a suspension or revocation.

Put simply, talk to an attorney.
