Q: For criminal drug related fines over $2,000, can the court take money from your bank account?
A payment plan was never set up. The bank account was just made, the money in the account is for emergencies for our newborn and is from working under the table so there are no pay stubs or record of where the money came from.
A: You should ask the lawyer who handled your case as he would know all the facts about your case and if a judgment was entered.
A: There are procedures in place for this and you will get notices if they do but generally courts don't do that, they just enter warrants for your arrest and then charge you extra for contempt when you appear in front of them.
