Q: If I was to be in a vehicle that was pulled over and I have no ID on .e such as my green card or anything, what happen?
I am legally allowed to be here but no documents or ID on me during the stop. If I was only a passnager and not the driver, what can happen? Would they detain me?
A: You could be ticketed for several different offenses from unlicensed driver to failure to show documents.

A: As a passenger, you are not required to carry an identification document.
A: You can be detained if there's probable cause of criminal activity. So if there's marijuana in the car for example that's enough for them to arrest you even though it's not on you or next to you. In court you may get it dismissed but they'll have the PC to detain you.
