Grand Prairie, TX asked in Traffic Tickets for Texas

Q: Is there a maximum number of camera-based tickets given that it takes a couple weeks to receive a ticket?

On a corner I take several times a week, apparently I have been only slowing down as I turn right at the traffic light. I didn't realize I was doing it, and I know it's technically wrong. When I received a ticket by mail I changed my driving habits and set myself to pay the ticket. However, over the next 2 weeks, I received 5 more tickets for the exact same issue at the same intersection. Is there something I can do to avoid paying 6 tickets since I didn't even know about the first until I had done it 6 times? (Never was I unsafe though, as I was very carefully watching traffic before going through the intersection.)

A: There is no limit on the number of red light camera tickets that can be issued to an individual in a given time frame. You have the right to contest any or all of the citations. Calling a local attorney would help. God luck.
