Q: What do I do.

I missed My court date on June 14 I got into a car accident 11 days prior and totaled my car. I did not have a ride to court the day of and had my two small children with me. I am a single parent. I was then told I have a $750 warrant. The city clerk told me to write a letter to the judge. I was then told if I brought it there I’d be arrested on the spot. now I have Court tomorrow for child support and I know If I go I know I will Be arrested. I dont Want my kids taken away. What do I do.

A: Be prepared to pay $750 bail in case you get arrested but since it's a different court they are not likely to check you for warrants. I never heard of family courts arresting people on warrants from municipal court but have the money ready just in case.
