Chauvin, LA asked in Child Custody for Louisiana

Q: I want to know if I can sue my ex's for alienation from my children. I'm in pain over this. They ignored court orders

I fought for my oldest two 4 times in court, and I didn't lose, bc I'm some crazy person. They simply had better lawyers and could provide for them better than I could. Every time in court, the judge would set up visitation, phone calls, etc. Then I would try to implement these changes, and they just wouldn't answer the phone to set things up, and wouldn't even let me talk to them. They kept them from me at any cost. My younger two boys dad did let me have them every other weekend for a year or so, but after and before that NOTHING. I though once they were older we would come back together, but it hasn't. I feel like I have birth to 4 kids, and now it's like I have NO family. I try to get close to them, but it's like the other side of family, is there real family. I wasn't invited to my son's engagement party. Nor did I take pictures with him before the wedding. I had no time with him before the wedding. My kids act almost like I'm dead. They don't remember when lived with me

A: Your remedy was to file to have your ex held in contempt when he failed to abide by the Court's orders. If found in contempt, he could be ordered to pay your attorney fees and court costs.

A: It sounds like your children are now adults and you want damages for this alienation. I don't know of any lawyers who would take this case.
