Fernandina Beach, FL asked in Child Support for Kentucky

Q: Can back support be required by the Courts to be paid in a lump sum in Indiana?

My children are emancipated.

My ex owes app 6k in arrearage but continues to go to Court to attempt to be released from the back support.

The next hearing is concerning Parenting Time Credit.

Can I ask for a lump sum payment to get this behind me?

A: Unlikely they will require a lump sum payment. You can collect with a lawyer or your own and get more.
