Q: Hello I am a concerned father,my son was convicted at trial for a case he never knew nothing about and lost at trial
We obtain private legal representation and they never came to see my son.he just got sentence to 10yrs and has no record the attorneys were inaffected
A: This seems like a miscarriage of justice to me; of course, I would need to read the trial transcript and speak to all necessary parties, but I hope you guys are filed a notice of appeal because this case needs to be appealed.
My practice is chiefly concerns criminal law, and I have been voted by members of legal community as one of the top 10 criminal lawyers in New York (see link at bottom of answer).
Further, if in fact your son was unrepresented in certain key portions but his case, we need to either appeal a mega 440 motion for new trial… If you would like a free consultation you can call me at 914-912-1555. Furthermore, this is the sort of case that we could do for reduced fee ( generally appeals are extraordinarily expensive...we are considered inexpensive at $250/hr...but we could do something like this even better for about $180/hr... either way we will give you a free consult point you in the right direction; feel free to call ) because otherwise your son has no shot at all and, at least according to the facts given, that shouldn’t stand.
