Q: How long can I stay in the marital home of husband is seeking divorce but hasn’t filed yet?
In the state of Alabama.Husband asked for a divorce and moved out a month ago. Hasn’t filed yet but is wanting me and kids to move out. (4 kids in the home non of are from this marriage). He is paying all the bills in our home. he said he still loves me and is still sleeping with me. But god is telling him to leave me and he has to obey. I do not want the divorce. Do you think a judge will grant counseling instead of divorce if asked? Especially Since he keeps coming back home and sleeping(in every form of the word) with me?
