Allen, TX asked in Medical Malpractice for Texas

Q: Medical Malpractice, plastic surgery question

In nutshell... I had hair transplant 10/16. The doctor prescribed valium for me to take the morning of the procedure. When I arrived, he instructed me to take double the prescribed dose. I don't remember the last time I took valium and had no idea how it would effect me. The high dose made me loopy and use bad judgement. I trusted the doctor to know what he was doing. Ultimately, he did a horrible job. He turned me into a vampire, a family member of the MUNSTERS. I did see 2 other hair transplant surgeons for consultation and both agreed that the hairline was not done correctly. The doctor offered $7,500 of the 13k I paid him refunded if I removed my reviews and I refused. Is there anything I can do to sue him? Will anyone take my case? I rather he lose 1 client from my reviews and choke on the 13k then take less. He's ruined my life. I was going to get it fixed this year, but was recently diagnosed with cancer. I'm stuck like this until 2021.

A: Contact a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Assn who handles medical negilgence--they give free consults. If they choose not to take it talk to another--it's a question of investing their time/money vs risk and like banks who'll give a mortgage to a person who was denied by another bank--each has their parameters.

However I'm not hearing you went to any medical scalp specialist to see what happened and what medically are your options. Regardless of the legal end you'd want to know that. By the way as Yelp may identify you I suggest you ask Justia to remove the reference to your posting above.
